WattBar Privacy Policy

We don't collect your data. It's that simple.

No Data Collection

WattBar does not collect, store, transmit, or share any of your personal information, power metrics, system data, or usage patterns. Your Mac's power information stays on your Mac.

How It Works

WattBar monitors power consumption metrics locally on your device by reading system information that is already available to applications running on your Mac. All processing happens on your device. No data is sent to Oontz, Apple, or any third party.

System Access

WattBar reads battery status and power consumption data from macOS system APIs. This information is processed locally on your device and never transmitted, stored, or shared.

No Tracking

WattBar does not include analytics, crash reporting, telemetry, or any tracking mechanisms. We don't know if you're using it, when you use it, or what you're monitoring.

No Information Is Collected

WattBar does not collect any information about you, your system, or your usage. No data is stored locally in association with your account (because there is no account), and no data is transmitted anywhere.

No Accounts

WattBar requires no account creation, login, or sign-up. You don't need to provide an email, name, or any identifying information to use the app.

No Third-Party Services

WattBar does not integrate with third-party analytics, advertising, or data collection services. It's just you and your power metrics.
